A series of Unfortunate events.....

Saturday Morning, I wake up and MUST HAVE COFFEE... I take my morning sojourn to the kitchen and place my kettle from the countertop to the stove to warm it up. I proceed to fix up my favorite coffee mug. Hey, it's the weekend, that means I get the oversized mug today (ahhh comfort). I add the perfect amount of coffee crystals, then just the right amount of sugar and the perfect dash of french vanilla creamer. Oh, I am giddy with the prospects of sitting in front of "Blues Clues" and having a warm, cozy, dose of caffeinated perfection!!

The hum of the tea kettle finally sounds and I scurry to pour the last step (warmed water) in a perfect cup of coffee......Pour---"Is that RED?"...Pour some more---"WHY IS THE WATER IN MY KETTLE RED?". Not a startling blood red or anything, but a classic RED. A very familiar RED.....hmmm

I open the lid to my tea kettle .....and behold a RED label with the words Crayola written on it, floating happily in the water and melted red crayon coated the entire inside of the kettle.

*sigh*

Damn that kid and his climbing skills!!!!!!
